The splendid late 16th-century building which houses the hotel once belonged to the family of an Albanian warlord. Its recent reconstruction highlights its most ancient elements, making them stand out next to its modern flourishes. Only 5 minutes away from the main museums, the Greek Decumanus, and ancient churches, the hotel is well-served by two nearby subway stations. With its strategic location, you won't waste a single hour of your trip. The Hotel boasts a special place for a break from the hustle: a private courtyard, a very rare find in downtown Naples, where you can relax, enjoy a cocktail or a light lunch. A vaulted arch dominates this 16th-century courtyard. If you're looking for an unconventional hotel, Bellini will be a nice fit for you. The hotel offers two types of stays: 1) rooms where you’ll find all the usual services of a city hotel, 2) while in the apartments you’ll feel like a guest in a noble Neapolitan dwelling.

Palazzo Pandola

Discover Palazzo Pandola, the iconic building that dominates Piazza del Gesù Nuovo, with a spectacular view of the obelisk dell'Immacolata. This notable apartment building which dates back to the 18th century and features a neoclassical facade has been featured in famous Italian and foreign films and TV shows. Initially the building formed a single structure with Palazzo Pignatelli di Monteleone where the family of the artist Edgar Degas lived for a long time. In 1823, Gaetono Pandola, a relative of the Pignatelli family purchased it, separated it, and transformed it into a separate building. Palazzo Pandola is known for being the home of Filumena Marturano, played by the magnificent Sofia Loren in Vittorio De Sica's famous film “Matrimonio all'Italiana” (Marriage Italian Style), based on Eduardo De Filippo's play. This location was previously chosen by director Vittorio De Sica ten years earlier to shoot an episode of “L'oro di Napoli” (The Gold of Naples), adapted for cinema by Cesare Zavattini and based on a collection of short stories by Giuseppe Marotta. Among the most recent films shot at Palazzo Pandola is Ferzan Özpetek's Napoli Velata. There are also countless television series that have chosen Palazzo Pandola as a location, including Mina Settembre, My Brilliant Friend, Inspector Ricciardi, Denzel Washington's Equalizer 3, and Giuseppe Moscati – L'amore Che Guarisce (Giuseppe Moscati – Love that Heals). With five immaculately designed suites to choose from, Palazzo Pandola is sure to provide you with the perfect art-lover's backdrop for an incredible experience in Naples.
